The Cordillera of Dreams won two prizes at this year's Cannes Film Festival: The Oeil d'Or Best Documentary Prize and the Beatrice Satori Critics Prize. This is the eighth of the director's films in the Icarus Films collection, and the third film in the Icarus Films collection to have won the coveted top documentary award at the Cannes Film Festival.
